About us

Disability Commissioner Tasmania are a small team of people helping the Commissioner to:

  • Advise the Tasmanian Government about addressing issues important to people with disability;
  • Increase inclusion and accessibility for Tasmanians with disability;
  • Keep Tasmanians with disability safe, by investigating when someone is at risk of harm; and
  • Promote the rights of people with disability.
