About the exhibition

Disability Commissioner Tasmania is proud to present the Living My Best Life Touring Exhibition, delivered in partnership with Libraries Tasmania, as it travels to libraries around the state.

Living My Best Life celebrates the creativity and individuality of Tasmanian artists with disability. Artists from across the state explore what it means to live their best life in ways that are meaningful to them.

Featuring works that range from quiet and contemplative to bold and expressive, the exhibition showcases printmaking, writing, music, painting, photography, design, digital media, sculpture, and textiles.

We are delighted to share this diverse collection of artworks with communities in Devonport, Burnie, Queenstown, and Launceston.

Living My Best Life is about art, expression, and inclusion. It reminds us that a good life looks different to everyone. As you experience the exhibition, we invite you to reflect on what living your best life means to you, and how we can shape a more inclusive Tasmania where everyone can thrive.
