
Shannon Goodwin is the Principal of West Ulverstone Primary School and has worked in education for more than 25 years. Living with disability herself, Shannon is passionate about creating inclusive communities and improving opportunities for others. Her career has included teaching and leadership roles across a range of school settings, with a strong focus on supporting children, families and communities to thrive.
Outside of work, Shannon is a proud step-mum to two teenage boys and enjoys being involved in her local community through Soroptimist International and community theatre. She loves swimming, reading and facilitating book clubs. Shannon is looking forward to contributing to the Disability Inclusion Advisory Council and supporting positive outcomes for Tasmanians with disability.
